Sunset High School
With an early start date of December 2007 for electrical work, the Sunset High School project was quick to get underway. Permit challenges were overcome through the use of an innovative pre-fabrication of wood framed walls that aligned with the SOG pour, cutting the schedule by a full 2 ½ weeks. An intense summer remodel schedule will encompass four different areas of the building that must be completed prior to the start of the 2008/2009 school year.

Springville K-8
Currently a K-5 project located in Beaverton, the Springville K-8 is being built with a future expansion to K-8 in mind. Pre-construction efforts have included multiple bid packages, including an early core/shell package to accommodate for longer structural steel lead-times.
Notable aspects of the project include a concrete tilt-up cafeteria which is being built with the purpose of later expanding into a full competition gym after the K-8 conversion. In addition, the school has been designed to follow the dramatic 40-foot slope of the site, featuring ramps and varying elevations, saving the district substantially on site work.
The schedule for the Springville K-8 project is July 2008 – August 2009.
